1. Who we are

Oraq ("Oraq", "we", "us") is an AI-driven higher-education search engine that matches students with university programs and scholarships and helps generate application documents. Oraq is owned and operated by Muhammad Faizan Wasif as a sole proprietorship.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Oraq and govern your access to and use of our website at oraqgpt.com, our application at chat.oraqgpt.com, and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Oraq provides

The Service provides:

  • Personalized matching of university programs and scholarships based on the profile information you provide;
  • Aggregated deadline, tuition, and eligibility information drawn from public sources, including official university and scholarship pages;
  • AI-assisted generation of application documents such as academic CVs, statements of purpose, motivation letters, recommendation letter templates, financial need statements, scholarship checklists, and research proposal outlines; and
  • Tools such as shortlist exports, favorites, and an application status tracker.

Features available to you depend on your plan, as described on our Pricing page.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate registration information. If you purchase a plan, your billing country determines your regional price tier (see Pricing). Deliberately misrepresenting your country of residence to obtain lower pricing is a material breach of these Terms.
  • One person, one account. Sharing accounts between multiple people is not permitted.

4. AI-generated content & advice disclaimer

Important: Matches, deadlines, eligibility rules, and documents produced by Oraq are generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Oraq does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any match, deadline, or document.

  • Always verify before you rely. Before submitting any application or fee, confirm deadlines, requirements, tuition, and eligibility directly with the university or scholarship provider using the source links we provide.
  • No professional advice. The Service does not constitute educational consulting, immigration advice, legal advice, or financial advice, and no such relationship is created by using it.
  • No admission or funding outcome is promised. Oraq does not guarantee admission to any program or receipt of any scholarship.
  • You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and taking ownership of every document you submit. Documents generated by the Service are drafts prepared for you and may resemble content produced for other users in structure.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • scrape, resell, redistribute, or systematically extract data, matches, or documents from the Service;
  • share, publish, or sublicense generated documents as templates for commercial redistribution;
  • interfere with the Service, circumvent usage limits or paywalls, probe vulnerabilities, or access other users' data;
  • upload content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious (e.g., malware), or that contains sensitive personal data of third parties without their consent; or
  • misrepresent your identity, nationality, or billing location to manipulate pricing or outputs.

We may impose reasonable rate limits and usage caps to protect service quality for all users.

6. Plans, pricing, billing & renewals

  • The Explorer (free): limited features as described on the Pricing page. No payment required.
  • Single Pass: a one-time purchase that unlocks premium features for one specified university.
  • Season Pass: a recurring subscription billed every three (3) months from the date of purchase. It renews automatically each 3-month cycle unless cancelled; you may cancel anytime from your account or by contacting support, and access continues until the end of the paid cycle.
  • All payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as merchant of record for the sale. Your payment card statement will show a charge from Paddle. Paddle handles tax calculation and remittance where applicable.
  • Prices differ by regional purchasing-power tier, applied automatically at checkout based on your billing country. Prices are displayed in USD at checkout unless otherwise stated; your bank may convert the charge to your local currency at its own exchange rate.
  • We may change prices at any time. Changes never affect purchases already completed; they apply only to future purchases.
  • If a purchased feature cannot be delivered (for example, a technical failure prevents your Single Pass from unlocking), contact us and we will fix it or refund you — see the Refund Policy.

7. Cancellation & refunds

Paid passes do not auto-renew, so there is nothing to cancel to avoid future charges. You may request a refund as described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Your content & uploads

  • You retain all rights to the materials you upload (transcripts, CVs, personal statements) and to the profile information you enter ("Your Content").
  • You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate the Service: building your profile, producing matches, and generating your documents. We do not sell Your Content.
  • To generate matches and documents, Your Content is sent to third-party AI providers acting as processors on our behalf. Details and safeguards are described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You represent and warrant that Your Content does not infringe any third party's rights and that you have consent for any personal data about other people it contains.
  • You can delete uploaded documents from within the app and request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Privacy Policy).

9. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including software, design, text, branding, the Oraq name and logo, prompts, and the underlying corpus architecture — is owned by Oraq and its operators and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted to you, no rights in the Service are transferred.

Your generated documents: you may use documents generated for you freely, including for your actual applications. You may not resell or redistribute them as templates.

Third-party data: program and scholarship information originates from public sources. Universities and scholarship providers retain all rights in their own names, marks, and content; references to them do not imply endorsement.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any particular result (match quality, document quality) will be achieved. Sections of this disclaimer that are unenforceable under applicable law are modified to the minimum extent necessary.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oraq and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, missed deadlines, denied admissions, lost scholarships, or data loss arising from or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or reliance on its outputs.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD 100 if you have made no payments. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

12. Termination & suspension

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you materially breach these Terms (including acceptable-use or pricing-fraud provisions), if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. If we terminate your paid access without cause, we will refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis. Upon termination, sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) survive.

13. Changes to these terms or the service

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will change, and material changes will be highlighted on this page or communicated in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. We are also free to evolve the Service — adding, changing, or retiring features — though paid features you have purchased remain available for their purchased duration.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts located in Pakistan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect intellectual property. If mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring claims in your local courts, that right is unaffected.
